DOOL Spoilers

Will, searching for his mother, uses his key to the DiMera mansion when no one answered his knock. Hearing noises in the living room, Will enters only to see his mother and EJ in the throws of passion. Disgusted, he quietly leaves.

EJ and Sami think they hear something, they stop as if they suddenly realized what they were doing and sit up almost in horror. They say nothing to each other. EJ pours a drink and Sami, realizing her battery has fallen out, replaces it to listen to the message from Rafe on speaker, Johnny is alive!

At the town square, Nicole is helping Brady and Madison put out flyers advertising the search for Johnny. Brady leaves the ladies alone and they talk.

Madison helps Nicole realize that she really does want to be with EJ and regrets the divorce.

Sami, Rafe, Bo and Hope are watching the report of the dead boy on TV. Bo reminds Sami that there is no proof that it is Johnny. At this point, Sami is choosing to remain positive.

Sami asks Rafe to go and confirm that the body is not Johnny’s. He is reluctant to leave her, but she asks him to go for her. Will offers to stay with his mom. When everyone leaves, Sami slips out, numb from grief.

John and Marlena are devastated at the news that a boy’s body has been found. Everyone is assuming the worst, that it is Johnny. John is more resolved than anything to plead guilty, he will not let any more harm come to his family. Marlena is reduced to tears, she can’t bear the thought of Johnny actually being murdered or of spending a day without John.

EJ too receives news that they have found a little boy’s body. He is completely besot with grief and guilt. Sobbing, Sami enters and they embrace by the fireplace, united by grief. However, they both refuse to give up all hope and speak of their son’s resourcefulness.

The positive encouragements between Sami and EJ are short-lived as the announcer on the TV confirms that the body of the boy is indeed that of missing Johnny DiMera.

In Brookville, Rafe examines the body and claims it is not Johnny! Relieved, Bo and Hope rush to tell everyone while insisting the TV station make an immediate retraction!

John wants to plead guilty to the judge right away. He thinks that a guilty plea will convince the kidnapper to release Johnny. Bo disagrees, for they can’t be sure that Johnny isn’t hiding somewhere but John is instant. Carrie urges him to wait for trial, but John is about to make a call to the judge himself.

Carrie calls on John’s behalf and the judge and DA agree to meet that evening!

Rafe calls the house to tell Sami the good news, but a distraught Will explains that she is nowhere to be found!

Back at the DiMera mansion, the TV is turned off. Sami’s phone has fallen to the ground and the battery has slipped out. Grief between the two parents has turned to blind rage, each physically and verbally assaulting one another trying to place blame.

The scene is angry, violent, riddled with grief and guilt which turns into intense passion as EJ and Sami kiss almost violently. They end up on the couch, partially clothed, and make out intensely with EJ writhing on top of Sami. It appears they are having sex, but it is not overly clear either.

EJ is despairing over Johnny’s disappearance. He has been up all night drinking and blaming himself for setting John up. Stefano wants him to snap out of it and refuses to let him take the blame.

EJ, completely despondent can’t see Stefano’s side of things. He thinks he should own up to the truth and accept the consequences. If they don’t find Johnny, he will forever blame himself. Stefano wants EJ to understand that they are who they are and this is the path they’ve chosen. EJ rages that his son can’t be collateral damage!

Waiting for the DNA test results on the shirt, Sami continues to unravel. Rafe encourages her to eat the sandwich he made her, but she freaks, throws the sandwich and now blames Rafe for Johnny’s disappearance.

Rafe tries to calm Sami, but she continues, claiming that it was his job to keep the family safe, and he failed. Will and Gabi enter in the middle of her tirade. Will tires to defend Rafe, but Sami won’t hear any reasoning.

Austin goes over the financial details of Alice’s case. He claims it has to be the work of a professional as they worked hard to hide any trails. The numbers are hidden in 9 different institutions over 3 different continents.

Austin believes Bo and Hope should reconsider the notion of someone blackmailing Alice. They agree as Austin says he will look into the files in more detail and perhaps he can discreetly get some information from his mother, Kate.

Carrie’s plea agreement with the DA is rejected and instead they’ll be seeking the maximum sentence in John’s case.

Bo and Hope arrive at Sami’s to warn her about a TV report about to go live. The body of a little boy the same age as Johnny has been found in Brookville. Sami collapses in Rafe’s arms, devastated and distraught.

Quinn arrives at the DiMera mansion with an offer for EJ. Nicole tells Quinn that they don’t want or need his help, but EJ is willing to hear him out.

Quinn tells EJ that while he has changed his ways, he still has contacts on the seedy side of town and will use them to help in the search for Johnny. EJ agrees, but Nicole is convinced it is a bad move both personally and politically for EJ.

Jack arrives at Jennifer’s convinced they are back together. She wonders how he is doing since his episode in the cabin and he tells her that her love and caring has cured him.

Jack keeps talking, but Jennifer needs to interrupt him and insist that he misunderstood her, Jack insists that she said she’d always love him and Jennifer is mad that he was pretending to be asleep when she said that. She also accuses him of being the masked man at the Halloween party, which Jack still denies.

Marlena is still trying to convince John not to plead guilty, but John is insistent that it is the only way to protect his family.

With Roman’s help, John and Marlena are able to go and be with Sami.

Rafe is lamenting that he can’t do enough in the search for Johnny now that he is only a civilian. He tries to console Sami, but she is non-responsive to his attempts. Will tries to lift Rafe’s spirits by telling him how lucky they are to have him as a father and that he is a dad to Johnny in every way that counts.

Marlena and John arrive at the loft to lend their support to Sami. They explain how Roman pulled some strings to allow John to be there. Sami is not impressed and uses the opportunity to release her rage on John blaming him for the shooting at the pub and the subsequent disapearance of her son.

Marlena steps in to protect John from Sami’s accusations, Will does as well, but Sami just turns her rage to Marlena insisting that she has only ever cared for John more than the family. Sami threatens John and Marlena that if Johnny is not found, she will make them wish they were never born.

Roman enters with a possible piece of evidence, a small strip of child’s clothing that he needs Samantha to identify. Crying, Sami insists it is not Johnny’s. EJ’s eyes are filled with tears. Everyone is lost in their own sadness.

Kate tells EJ that she does not believe that John is guilty, it is just not who he is. She questions EJ as to whether or not he and Stefano are responsible for the attempt on John’s life. EJ retorts that if he and Father wanted John dead then he’d be dead, but no, they had nothing to do with it.

Madison is stressed about a huge meeting and choked that Sami is not in the office yet. Brady arrives and seems unconcerned about the meeting which further frustrates Madison.

Brady informs Madison about the shooting at the pub and she offers her support by joining him in the search for Johnny.

EJ approaches Sami in the square after confronting the shooter. He tells her that he has his men looking for their son. Rafe questions whether or not EJ had his son kidnapped like he did Sydney.

Abe makes a public appeal for the safe return of Johnny DiMera.

Roman, Rafe and EJ follow up on a lead. They head to an abandon cabin where a boy matching  Johnny’s description was seen. Although they find nothing, Rafe takes the opportunity to confront EJ about his role in Johnny’s disappearance. Roman comes to EJ’s defense.

Kate joins Sami at a table in the town square. Kate offers Sami muffins and attempts to console her about Johnny. Sami rebuffs Kate’s attempts, but comes to see that her former mother-in-law is genuine for the sake of her step-grandson.

After finding nothing, Roman confronts Sami with the very real possibility that Johnny has been kidnapped. EJ is there to comfort Sami by promising that no one will touch a hair on their son’s head.

Johnny is missing from the pub shooting and the search is on. Sami is frantic and despite Rafe’s best efforts, she is pulling away from him.

Carrie seeks an injunction from the court for a change of location for the trial but is denied.

John is convince he will plead guilty no matter how Marlena tries to convince him otherwise. John sees no other way to protect his family and he refuses to see another innocent victim especially after Johnny’s disappearance.

EJ receives a text from Samantha and heads to the police station with Nicole. He is furious that his children were put in such a dangerous situation in the first place, Rafe warns him to quit criticizing Sami and instead he turns his rage on the police releasing a tirade of accusations about their ineptitude.

EJ is determined to have his father’s men on the case, but Nicole taking EJ aside reminds EJ of his election bid and that for the sake of the campaign, he must work with the police, not against them. EJ could care less about the mayoral race, but Nicole pleads with him that he will once Johnny is found.

EJ, listening to Nicole’s advise, walks back into the room and apologizes for his overreaction.

Daniel heads over to see Jennifer at her house upon hearing the news about Johnny. Jennifer loves his care and concern. Dan opens up about witnessing her kissing Jack. Jennifer is sorry.

Jen tells Dan about being in the cabin with Jack and Daniel recognizes the symptoms of post tramatic stress disorder. He is getting weary of the double dating situation but Jennifer asks him not to give up on her as she is not giving up on him.

Sami tells Carrie that she blames John for everything including her son’s disappearance and she is disgusted how Marlena always chooses John over the family, even now.

The shooter is found and being brought back to the station through the town square. Sami lunges at him demanding to know what happened to her son. Roman is convinced

EJ tells Stefano that he is going to make a statement on the steps of the courthouse today as it is the beginning of John’s trial. He thinks it is wise to focus on the lawsuit against John so he will appear the champion of the common man.

Bo, impressed with the investigative work Austin has done on John’s trial, asks him if he would put together a investigative time line with regards to Alice’s secret.

Sammy, Rafe and the kids join the rest of the family at the pub to be with John on what could be his last few hours of freedom.

Outside the pub is a masked professional gun man who is listening in on the conversation at the pub while putting together a high-powered rifle.

Jennifer admits she has not made her choice between Daniel and Jack.

Hope and Jennifer, searching through Alice’s things come across a sliver paperweight inscribed “To Alice, a symbol of our bond” there is also the symbol of the Phoenix on it, which belongs to Stefano.

At the DiMera mansion, Stefano is giddy at the fact that John may go down in flames, completely ruined and he notes the irony that he had nothing to do with it. EJ remarks that at least one of them are innocent.

Stefano puts the pieces together and could not be more proud of his son, a true DiMera! He marvels at EJ’s cunning by framing John.

At the pub, the bullets are flying and when it is over, no one is hurt but Johnny is missing.

Nicole is over at the mansion as EJ puts the final touches on his speech. Nicole states she wants to resign since he took away her speech writing duties. EJ would rather talk about last night. Nicole insists that nothing has changed between them.

Nicole serves EJ with divorce papers. EJ asks, “Divorce papers?” Nicole says, “Freshly drawn. Our marriage is over.” EJ is stunned into silence.

EJ begs and pleads with Nicole to give him, give then another chance, But Nicole is firm, she wants him to sign the petition and she will file it after the election so as to not hurt the campaign.

EJ is frustrated, Nicole is clearly torn as he tells her, ”You are the most bewitching woman I’ve ever met!”

Madison arrives at the office dismayed that Brady is not visiting his father on what could be his last night of freedom. She claims that she doesn’t even want to know the guy who would turn his back on his own dad. Convinced, Brady takes Madison to visit John and Marlena.

Marlena and Madison leave to go and pick up food at the square. Brady and John have a heart to heart, both admitting their mistakes. John tells his son that he is proud of him. Brady is clearly moved.

EJ tells Nicole he wants so desparately to be a family with her and the kids. He is running for mayor so that they can have a father they can be proud of. Nicole states that their marriage did not work before because it was built on lies and blackmail. She claims she is a moth that has been burned enough to know when to step away from the flame. EJ is sorry and so is she.

EJ then signs the papers, “There, I hope you are happy”. He walks out as Nicole breaks down in tears.

Carrie and Austin move out of the loft and make love in their hotel room. Carrie questions Austin as to whether or not he figures Rafe and Sami suit each other. Austin thinks they do, but Carrie can’t see the connection.

Rafe has planned a family night at the pub with Sami and the kids. He spoils the kids with gifts they love and Sami is impressed her husband is so in touch with the children.

Carrie and Austin stop by as they wanted to be with family. Carrie and Rafe discuss the case, which doesn’t impress Austin and Sami much.

A completely devastated EJ walks past the pub and takes in the family scene with his children. He stares completely saddened. Meanwhile, Nicole tearfully strokes his signature on the papers.

At the pub, Will, Sonny and Chad are trying to figure out the gambling link mystery connected to their website. They all agree to keep it a secret while they try to fix it, that way hopefully the university won’t find out and shut them down.

Abigail and Gabi walk in on the guys as they hastily shut the computer. The girls sense that something is up, but the boys won’t divulge and try and distract them.

Melanie overhears what the guys are saying about the site and encourages Chad to be honest with his girlfriend. Chad asks Melanie to keep his secret and Melanie agrees.

Back at the Horton house, Jack admits to Jennifer that he was embarrassed that she saw him the way he was in the cabin. Jennifer tells him it was understandable and suggests he goes for counseling, but Jack can’t bare the thought of reliving the experience twice.

Jack tells Jennifer that he, “loves her so much” Jen whispers that she loves him too and they begin to kiss, Jennifer pulls away but Jack pulls her in and they kiss passionately.

Dan and Brady are jogging in the town square. Dan is concerned about Jennifer spending the night with Jack.  Brady suggest they jog by Jen’s house and tell her they needed to stop by for water. Daniel reluctantly agree’s to Brady’s little scheme.

Daniel witnesses Jack and Jennifer kissing. He leaves and later vows to fight for what he loves.

“I know it’s hard not to be nervous but I think this will be very helpful.” Marlena tells John as she begins to hypnotize him.

Under Marlena’s hypnosis, John growls, “I won’t take orders from you.” He becomes agitated as he describes killing a French diplomat on the same day he and Marlena renewed their vows in Italy. Marlena wakes John up before they go any deeper.

Carrie states that the French diplomat John claims to have killed is actually alive.

Marlena and John believe that Stefano has implanted false memories into John which has John questioning what is real and what is fake.

Madison wakes up hung over and under a blanket on the floor of her office. A shirtless Brady teases her about the previous evening leading Madison to believe they had sex.

Madison is concerned how this will affect their working relationship and admits she doesn’t remember anything. She is clearly mad at Brady who then confesses that if they had sex, she would definitely remember!

Nicole and EJ wake up and while EJ lovingly reminisces about last night, Nicole figures it was a mistake, but they end up making love again.

Bo and Hope are called away on snowmobiles from the Kiriaksis mansion to some important police business. Maggie is upset that no one will be there for the wedding and considers postponing. Melanie asks her what is more important, who is in attendance or becoming Mrs. Victor Kiriaksis today?

After making love again, Nicole comments that although the sex is great, she needs more and is not sure that she can trust EJ with her heart ever again. EJ tells her that when Gus took her hostage something inside him changed, “I knew that if I lost you, I would lose the only person who ever really accepted and understood me”.

Nicole can’t believe that EJ wants her back, she tells him how she loved him more than anyone else ever did or will and yet he took advantage of it. EJ vows to spend the rest of his life making it up to her, proving his love to her. He encourages her with how they could be a family with Jonny and Sydney again.

The conversation is too much for Nicole, she is confused and even though they start to kiss again, she tells EJ that she can’t trust her heart to him. EJ begs Nicole to stay, but ultimately she leave and EJ is crushed.

Brady is not able to make the wedding  due to the bad roads and no cell service. Madison asks about his mother being there and Brady tells her about Isabella who died of cancer before he got a chance to know her.

Madison is touched learning about a different side to Brady.

Maggie decides to go ahead with the wedding and asks Daniel if he will give her away, after a slight pause, he agrees.

Victor and Maggie are married with Daniel and Melanie in attendance and Justin officiating.
